Saving & Investing in Plain English

We were all very good at saving when there was the big carrot of the SSIA’s. Lately I’ve been talking to friends who are starting to save a few quid each month as the rainy days seem ever closer.

This video from the guys in Commoncraft is a nice piece on how putting a little aside regularly can mount up. It is a little simplistic and American (no, they don’t go hand in hand) but I think it’s a timely reminder of some of the basics:
